Drawing Table

Sorry, I'm still a bit behind. I'll post an AlphaBeast tomorrow. In the meantime, I finally took a few pictures of my studio. This is my drawing table set-up. Yes, pretty much everything in my studio is this jam-packed.

Now you know why I felt strangely at home when I saw the studio of Henry Darger.http://www.art.org/collection/henry-darger/

  1. Oooh! I love your table!!! So busy and the table of a productive and creative artist. Sigh. I don't have a table, nor a studio. I just sit wherever I can. Most often in the kitchen. Sometimes I draw standing in front of the washer. At least I sit in front of an easel when I oil paint but drawing...anywhere! Eh. Someday when I grow up, I want to have a big library with a studio. Hah!

  2. So much wonderful stuff, jammed in jar to box to brush etc., just waiting for the creative moment to arrive.

  6. I always love a studio shot...it looks just like your work and writing: warm, creative, intricate, a bit exotic, with a dash of whimsy.
