Growing things from seed still seems magical to me after all these years. It's weird and wonderful that such modest little bits of not-much can yield such spectacularly vibrant life forms.
This one hasn't popped up in my garden yet, but you never know when it might volunteer! In the meantime it will grow in the painting...
