Dance Your Way to Health

I must confess that the title, & the background graphic from a wonderful old (empty) package of eye-dressing that I found at the Flea Market, are a shameless attempt to make these oddments fit this week's IF prompt. Leah culpa.

The sprouty dancers are (of course) figures for the Painting That Has Yet to Be Named, executed in Photoshop &c.

  4. Nice juxtaposition of foreground and background and 3D to 2D.
Looks like they're part of the ad, a before and after pic? ...or perhaps an after and before pic.

  6. Thanks for your comment on my Sketchbook post Leah. I really like the way you use layered imagery. The choice of background here is very clever. And I like the colour palette.

  7. The creature on the right is Mel lorem, also called sweet fat drib. Found mostly on the tree branches in the northern hemisphere.
I am sorry, on the left side.....I am not sure . Here is something very serious going on: the creature is a mimicry. I guess, he (or she) is pretending being good guy but it is not! It is camouflage, under the green leaves is hidden a terrible predator who likes to bite in the juicy and sweet Mel!

  8. Thanks to all for your kind, thoughtful & imaginative words!

I must admit I tremble to think of the fate of poor Mel the drib... who may be dancing his way to a very unhealthy end, after all...
